Katy Bucknell

Katy Bucknell has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Katy has held various HR roles in different companies. Katy started their career as a Travel Sales Consultant at Lunn Poly Limited in 1993. Katy then worked at OAG as a Supplier Consultant, Airline Data Supervisor, and Airline Analyst from 1996 to 2001.

From 2002 to 2003, Bucknell worked as an Interim HR Advisor at Whitbread, supporting the Employee Relations helpdesk and providing advice on various HR matters. Katy then joined InBev as a Human Resources Coordinator from 2003 to 2005.

From 2005 to 2007, Bucknell worked at Londonlines (National Express) as an Employee Relations Officer and later as a Recruitment Officer. Katy provided advice and support on employee relations issues and managed resourcing activities.

In 2007, Bucknell became the Head of HR at C2C Rail Limited, leading a team to provide comprehensive HR support services. Katy ensured HR policies and procedures were compliant and managed the application of trade union agreements.

From 2008 to 2012, Bucknell worked as an Employee Relations Manager at National Express East Anglia. Katy provided professional advice and support on employee relations issues and maintained effective welfare procedures.

Since 2012, Bucknell has been working at Greater Anglia. Katy started as an HR Business Partner and later became a Senior HR Business Partner, Head of HR, Deputy HR Director (acting HR Director), and currently holds the position of HR Director. In these roles, they have provided valuable support in determining and implementing the company's HR strategy, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and coaching and mentoring junior talent within the business.

Katy Bucknell completed a Post Graduate Degree in Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development at BPP Malpas from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they attended Stopsley High School in Luton from 1991 to 1996, but no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
