Laura Wieber

Laura Wieber, CPHQ, has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Laura currently holds the position of Director of Quality and Patient Safety at GBMC HealthCare since November 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Quality Outcomes at Carroll Hospital from March 2020 to October 2023.

Laura also has experience at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC), where they served as a Quality Outcomes Manager from July 2017 to March 2020. Laura previously held the roles of Quality Outcomes Analyst and Core Measure Abstractor at GBMC from March 2017 to July 2017 and December 2013 to March 2017, respectively.

Before joining GBMC, Laura worked at Providence Hospital (Providence Health System) as a Service Line Manager for Orthopaedics from April 2013 to December 2013. Laura also served as a Clinical Effectiveness Manager and Coordinator of Quality and Excellence for Physician Enterprise at Providence Hospital from January 2013 to April 2013 and July 2011 to December 2012, respectively.

Laura's earlier experience includes working as a Quality Analyst at Mercy Medical Center, Baltimore, MD, from January 2010 to July 2011. Laura also held positions as an HRIS Coordinator and HRIS Specialist at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center from June 2007 to January 2010 and September 2004 to May 2007, respectively.

Laura Wieber, CPHQ has a Bachelor of Science degree in English from Towson University. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) from the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ).
