Robert Schmollinger

Robert Schmollinger has extensive experience in internal audit and risk management. Robert currently serves as the Director of Internal Audit at GBMC Healthcare, where they are focused on modernizing internal audit and risk management approaches for the hospital system. Prior to this, Robert worked as a Principal at RCS II Consulting, LLC and as the Vice President of Internal Audit at MicroStrategy. Robert also held roles at ClearView Group, Algeco Scotsman Group, MedImmune, Ernst & Young LLP, Aegon, Transamerica, and previously worked at Ernst & Young LLP as a Senior. Throughout their career, Robert has established and led internal audit teams, conducted financial reporting audits, implemented control improvements, and collaborated with various stakeholders.

Robert Schmollinger attended the William & Mary - Raymond A. Mason School of Business from 1988 to 1992, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Accounting. Additionally, they hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
