Yuliya Klopouh, PharmD has extensive experience in pharmacy services and healthcare. Yuliya started their career at LifeBridge Health in 2001, where they served as a Clinical Pharmacy Manager and later as a Clinical Pharmacist, specializing in infectious diseases. During their time at LifeBridge Health, Yuliya developed and oversaw therapeutic drug monitoring and clinical pharmacy initiatives and ensured compliance with pharmacy practice standards.
In 2008, Yuliya joined the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor, where they shared their expertise with students and contributed to pharmacotherapeutic management of diseases.
In 2009, they joined the University of Notre Dame as an Assistant Professor, further expanding their teaching experience.
In 2018, Yuliya became the Director of Pharmacy at GBMC HealthCare, where they planned, supervised, and coordinated pharmacy operations. Yuliya oversaw all pharmacy-related activities, including drug procurement, distribution, and regulatory compliance. Yuliya also worked on improving pharmacy services, building relationships with internal partners and patients, and providing opportunities for business and staff development.
In 2021, Yuliya was promoted to the role of Executive Director of Pharmacy Services at GBMC HealthCare. In this role, they direct system-wide pharmacy services and practices across all patient care areas, ensures compliance with regulations and laws, and develops pharmacy growth strategies. Yuliya also oversees human resource management and the adoption of healthcare information and pharmacy technologies.
Yuliya Klopouh holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. Yuliya also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB). In addition, they have a Medical Doctor degree from Kiev Medical University. Yuliya is certified as a Pharmacist by the State of Maryland.
