Gerald Francis

Gerald Francis is currently a board member at the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. Gerald has extensive experience in the public transit sector, having served as the General Manager of Keolis Commuter Services from January 2014 to August 2016, and Assistant Vice President of Rail Operations for Dallas Area Rapid Transit from January 1999 to December 2002.

Under Francis' leadership, Keolis Commuter Services successfully managed the daily operations of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority commuter rail system in Boston, one of the largest and most complex systems in North America carrying more than 127,000 passengers each week day. Prior to their work at Keolis, Francis was instrumental in the development and implementation of directives and programs for the rail division at Dallas Area Rapid Transit, including organizational procedures, passenger safety, and adherence to operating schedules. Gerald also worked closely with the Texas Department of Transportation to ensure adherence to safety and security practices for the development of rail transit system safety program plans.

Francis has a proven track record of success in the public transit sector, and their experience will be a valuable asset to the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.

Gerald Francis attended Creighton University and earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and a minor in Management.
