Nicholas Biggar began their work experience in 2007 as a Senior Corps Member at City Year. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as the Regional Director of Community Affairs and Intern at the Ohio Treasurer of State's Office. In 2011, they joined Greater Cleveland RTA as a Business Analyst and later served as a Maintenance Planner (Rail District) from 2013 to 2015. Nicholas then worked as a Budget Management Analyst from 2015 to 2016 and as an Assistant Transportation Manager from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they became the Acting Director before being promoted to the District Director role in 2018. As the District Director at Greater Cleveland RTA, they managed a workforce of several hundred employees and was responsible for daily service delivery, performance strategy, employee discipline, safety, labor relations, fleet/facility maintenance, and budget execution.
