Terri Mateo

Terri Mateo, M.A., currently serves as Senior Director of Advancement at United Through Reading, where an evolutionary career has included three promotions within five years, enhancing leadership and responsibilities in fundraising and relationship cultivation. With a strong background in nonprofit management and communications, Terri has successfully led initiatives such as the revision of the Board's Fundraising Policy and the creation of the #40MillionStories marketing campaign. Previous roles include Director of Communications and Operations at First Tee Greater Chicago and Development Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County. Terri holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Purdue University.
