Sarena W.

Sarena W. has extensive experience in youth development and community engagement, currently serving as a Site Coordinator at the Local Investment Commission (LINC) since July 2021. Previously, Sarena held the position of Youth Development Professional with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America from September 2020 to July 2021, and served as an Americorps Member with City Year from July 2019 to May 2020. Earlier roles include working as a Work Study Tutor at Xavier University of Louisiana from August 2016 to April 2019 and as a Field Manager for Grassroots Campaigns from April 2016 to August 2016, where responsibilities included canvassing for the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Sarena earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from Xavier University of Louisiana, having attended from 2015 to 2019, and completed secondary education at Grandview Senior High from 2011 to 2015.
