Dr. Elisabeth Pop's work experience includes various roles and positions in organizations such as the Greater London Authority, Delegation of the European Union to the United Kingdom, UK Democracy Network, HOPE not hate, Cambridgeshire Constabulary, Mediafax, TVR Romania, and MTV. Dr. Elisabeth has worked as a Principal Policy and Project Officer, Co-Chair, Citizenship and Integration Adviser, Expert Advisory Board member, Council of Reference member, Democratic Engagement Officer, National Campaigns Coordinator, Research and Engagement Officer, Multilingual Support Officer, English News Editor, Newsroom Intern, and TV Production Intern. Dr. Elisabeth'swork experience spans from 2003 to the present, with a focus on active citizenship, democratic participation, European affairs, and democratic engagement.

Dr. Elisabeth Pop completed their education with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from the University of Bucharest in 2006. Dr. Elisabeth then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Diplomacy/International Relations at the University of Nottingham from 2007 to 2008. Following this, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Nottingham from 2008 to 2012.
