Laura Pierce has a diverse work experience in the sports industry. Laura is currently working as the Head of Major Sports Events at the Greater London Authority since September 2021. Prior to this, Laura served as the Senior Manager for Men's EURO 2020 & Women's 2022, where they successfully managed the planning and delivery of London's host city obligations for the UEFA European Football Championships. Laura also has experience as a Sports Programme Manager at the Greater London Authority.

Laura Pierce attended The Tiffin Girls' School from 1998 to 2005, where they completed their high school education. During this time, they studied A2 Levels in History, English Literature, and Psychology, as well as AS Levels in Sports Studies.
Later, from 2005 to 2008, Laura pursued their Bachelor's Degree at the University of Birmingham. Laura specialized in Sport, P.E., and Community Studies.
