Diane Norburn

Diane Norburn is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education and career advising. Currently serving as an Enterprise Advisor at Greater Manchester Combined Authority since February 2022, Diane previously held the position of Lead Careers Advisor at St John Rigby College from December 2017 to February 2022. As Director of Big BLast Science from July 2016 to December 2021, Diane oversaw the delivery of whole-school science shows and curriculum-linked workshops. Earlier roles include teaching at Wigan Council from September 2010 to July 2016, where Diane developed science curriculum opportunities for primary students, and serving as Marketing and Events Officer at Southport College between January 2001 and August 2006, managing event organization and external relations. Diane holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) from Up Holland High and a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science from Edge Hill University.
