Kevin Carranza

Kevin Carranza serves as the Director of Business Intelligence for GPEC. He supports GPEC’s regional mission by working on community, investor, and internal research requests, as well as tackling GIS projects and long-term research. Kevin’s professional interests include urban analytics, spatial analysis and statistics, city-scale population health, and local housing markets.

In May 2020, Kevin earned his master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Planning with a graduate certificate in GIS from Arizona State University. Before joining GPEC, Kevin was an intern at the City of Phoenix Water Services Department where he worked in Demand, Research, and Infrastructure Planning. He has previous experience in the medical device and residential construction/real estate industries.
