Zach Venvertloh

Zach Venvertloh joined the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) team in March 2020 and serves as Business Development Director. In his role, Zach is responsible for supporting a broad spectrum of activities to promote quality job growth and enhance Greater Phoenix’s regional competitiveness, with a focus on helping innovative technology companies as they join the region’s thriving tech scene.

Zach is a 2013 graduate of Quincy University, where he obtained undergraduate degrees in Biological Sciences and Chemistry. During his graduate studies, he was awarded a Presidential Graduate Research Fellowship at the University of Iowa, where he researched innovative therapeutic options for the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease. Prior to joining GPEC, Zach spent three years living abroad and working in a variety of industries.
