Cphr Katherine Kowal

Katherine Kowal, CPHR, has an extensive background in human resources, currently serving as the Superintendent of Human Resource Services at Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools since March 2013, where responsibilities include labor relations, employee wellness initiatives, and professional development funding management. Previous roles at the same organization include Assistant Manager, focusing on recruiting and staffing processes in accordance with collective agreements. Prior experience includes coordination of talent acquisition at Federated Co-operatives Limited and facilitating learning and development seminars across Western Canada. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan, an HR Management Certificate from MacEwan University, and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Athabasca University.
