Daryna Shapkina

Daryna Shapkina is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the End User Services Manager and Product Portfolio Manager at Greater Wellington Regional Council since June 2021, Daryna has successfully implemented Lean Portfolio Management processes, enhanced team capabilities, and developed a Product Owner's handbook. Prior roles include Product Manager at Totara Learning, where Daryna developed the award-winning Totara Engage product, and Product Owner at NEC New Zealand Limited, overseeing product development strategies and promoting agile frameworks. Daryna's background also includes significant contributions as a Product Manager and Project Manager in earlier positions, complemented by a Master's degree in Philology with Honours from Zaporizhzhya National University.
