Brian Pond

Brian Pond has been working in the field of information and technology for over 20 years. Brian started their career as a director of information services for Grene Vision Group. Brian then went on to assume the role of VP, Information & Technology at Greater Wichita YMCA. In their current position, Brian is responsible for managing and leading the IT staff, providing services to 20 offices and surgery centers, coordinating technology initiatives, and overseeing projects. Brian has been instrumental in implementing various electronic systems such as the Electronic Practice Management solution, Optical inventory system, and Electronic Health Records system. Brian has also developed logistics associated with Document Imaging and retention policy and workflow. In addition, Brian has upgraded to Windows 2008r2 domain and Exchange 2010 messaging environment, replaced all perimeter security solutions, deployed and designed Cisco Wireless Controller solution with 30+ access points, and designed and implemented offsite disaster recovery capabilities using EMC Avamar grids with synchronous replication. Brian has also installed and now manages CISCO IPT (IP Telephone) system including Jabber as well as other unified communications components. Brian is currently removing all legacy switch and route equipment and installing new Cisco gear.
