Kate McGarr

Kate McGarr is a seasoned professional in health, sustainability, and communications, currently serving as an Officer for Health and Sustainability at The Consumer Goods Forum since February 2023 and freelancing as a Copywriter for Greatist. Previous experiences include executive coordination for the Farmer’s Table Dinner program at Partners for Sustainable Healthy Communities, Inc., production assistance at Conversations on the Green, and communications support with the OECD on the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence. As a co-founder of The Campaign for Universal Human Responsibilities, Kate led initiatives to draft a Declaration complementing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Additional roles include research fellow at The American University of Paris focusing on genocide studies and project management for international commerce. Kate holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Affairs from The American University of Paris and a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities Classics/History from Ohio Wesleyan University.
