Walt A. Walker, PE, ENV SP has extensive work experience in the engineering and water/wastewater industry. Walt A. is currently serving as Vice President, Equity Practice Leader & Client Account Manager at Greeley and Hansen, where they have been since 2016. In this role, they provide a range of engineering services and sustainable solutions for water and wastewater projects.
Prior to their current position, Walt held various roles at Greeley and Hansen, including Associate / Water Equity Practice Leader and Associate / Project Manager. Walt A. has also worked as an Environmental Engineer at BCM Engineers and Civil Engineer at Taylor Wiseman & Taylor.
Walt is actively involved in professional organizations and volunteer work. Walt A. has served as the Chair of Council of Regional Presidents at Engineers Without Borders USA and Chair of the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee at the New York Water Environment Association.
Outside of their professional work, Walt is a member and co-owner of JustDesign Cooperative, LLC, a social justice cooperative focused on environmental sustainability and community autonomy. Walt A. has also worked as a Group Fitness Instructor at Sweat Fitness. Throughout their career, Walt has demonstrated a commitment to social equity, community engagement, and environmental justice.
Walt A. Walker, PE, ENV SP pursued their education at Rowan University. Walt A. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil Engineering from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they completed their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from 2005 to 2006.
In addition to their educational qualifications, Walt A. Walker, PE, ENV SP has also acquired several certifications. Walt A. received the Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) certification from the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure in January 2018. Furthermore, they hold the Professional Engineer (PE) designation and is registered as a PE in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Walt A. Walker, PE, ENV SP has also participated in professional development programs. Walt A. attained the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021. Additionally, they completed the Reimagining Blackness and Architecture program offered by The Museum of Modern Art in May 2021 as well.
