Pasquale Merella has a diverse range of work experience in risk management and financial analysis. Pasquale served as the Chief Risk Officer at Green Arrow Capital from 2018, leading the risk management team and developing risk management models. Pasquale also played an active role in the leadership team for the launch of new products and the business plan of the company. Prior to this, they were the Head of Risk Management at Quadrivio SGR, where they created the Risk Management Framework for investment funds in various sectors. Pasquale also has experience as a Risk Manager at Solutions Capital Management SIM SPA and Hines, where they oversaw financial, credit, and operational risks and contributed to real estate investment evaluation. Pasquale has been a Member of the Board of Directors at Swiss InsurTech Hub since 2021. Additionally, Pasquale has experience in research and academia, having worked as an Assistant Researcher at ECONPUBBLICA Centre for Research and as a Financial Analyst at Epta Global Investment LTD. Pasquale is also a Full Member of Aifirm Associazione Italiana Financial Industry Risk Managers since 2011, participating in research and training activities.

Pasquale Merella, FRM has a diverse education history that spans various fields of study. Pasquale first attended Università Bocconi from 1997 to 2003, where they graduated with a BA in Economics and Finance. In 1999, they also participated in a Summer School program at The London School of Economics and Political Science, focusing on the Economics of European Integration.

In 2013, Merella pursued further education in finance. Pasquale completed a Statement of Accomplishment in Finance, General at Stanford University and another Statement of Accomplishment in Financial Engineering and Risk Management at Columbia University.

Later in 2013, they enrolled in the GARP - Global Association of Risk Professionala, where they obtained the Certified FRM (Financial Risk Manager) certification, specializing in Financial and Risk Management. This certification showcases their expertise in the field.

Furthermore, in 2009, Merella obtained a Brevetto sommozzatore sportivo (due stelle) certification in sport diving from CMAS FIPSAS, demonstrating their passion for outdoor recreational activities.

Prior to their university education, Merella completed their secondary education at Istituto Tecnico Commerciale "La Marmora" in Sassari, from 1991 to 1996. Pasquale graduated with a degree in Ragioniere e perito commerciale, focusing on accounting.
