Steve Plevak

Steve Plevak has over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, specializing in land acquisition and planning. Steve currently serves as the Vice President of Land Acquisition at Green Brick Partners, Inc. In this role, they are responsible for identifying potential projects and overseeing the acquisition of land in Texas, Georgia, and Florida.

Prior to joining Green Brick Partners, Inc., Steve held various leadership positions at KB Home, including Senior Director and Director of Land Acquisition and Planning. Steve was responsible for locating potential projects, completing financial analysis, and preparing for construction of residences that aligned with KB Home's business model. Steve also served as the Vice President of Real Estate at Walton Group of Companies, where they researched and negotiated asset acquisitions in the South Region.

Earlier in their career, Steve worked as the Austin Regional Director at Metrostudy, overseeing data collection on the new home construction market. Steve also served as the Vice President of Land at Ryland Homes, managing the acquisition and development of projects in Austin.

Steve's experience also includes roles at Capitol Market Research, University of Texas at Austin, TeleTech, and IBM, where they gained expertise in research, financial analysis, and expense management.

Throughout their career, Steve has demonstrated strong leadership skills and industry knowledge, making him a valuable asset in the real estate field.

Steve Plevak received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2006. Steve then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Community and Regional Planning at The University of Texas at Austin from 2008 to 2010. In 2017, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Executive MBA from Baylor University - Hankamer School of Business. Prior to their higher education, Steve received their High School Diploma from Lourdes High School in 2002.
