Alan Gillett

Alan Gillett has a significant amount of experience in the solar energy industry. Alan started their career as a Regional Salesman at SunWize Technologies, Inc. in 2007 and worked there until 2009. In 2009, they joined Verengo Solar as a Business Development Director, where they played a pivotal role in growing new finance partner sales and training sales management teams. Alan also managed the development and integration of new products and services, reviewed and recommended financing partners, and ran new market divisions. From 2012 to 2013, they served as the Market Manager at Verengo Solar, where they developed marketing and sales plays and led and trained a team of sales members. Alan then became the Leader/Field Crews Manager from 2011 to 2012, leading and training a team of field crew members and improving team performance and service timing. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as the Residential Solar Sales Manager at Verengo Solar, growing monthly sales and leading and training a team of 25 sales members. Alan then moved on to Horizon Solar Power in 2014, where they served as the Vice President of Operations until 2018. During this time, they played a key role in the company's operations and management. In 2018, they joined Greenspire as the Chief Operating Officer, where they continued to oversee operations and contribute to the company's success. In 2019, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Green Day Power.

Alan Gillett attended Mater Dei High School from 1991 to 1995. Alan then went on to study at California State University, Fullerton from 1999 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Finance, General. Additionally, Alan has obtained several certifications, including B - General Contractor, C - 39 Roofing Contractor, C - 46 Solar Contractor, and C-10 Electrical Contractor, all from CSLB.
