Dustin Young

Dustin Young has extensive work experience in various industries, spanning from 2005 to present. Dustin is currently working as the Vice President of Operations at Green Dot Labs since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Plant Manager at Honey Smoked Fish Holdings LLC from October 2021 to April 2023.

Before their tenure at Honey Smoked Fish Holdings LLC, Dustin worked at Custom Made Meals as the Sr. Production Manager from October 2020 to July 2021, and as the Manager of Operational Excellence from April 2019 to October 2020.

Dustin further contributed their expertise as a Production Supervisor at JMFG - Smithfield Foods from September 2013 to April 2019, where they were responsible for organizing daily run schedules, forecasting load completion times, analyzing raw material needs, and redesigning production lines to improve efficiency.

Earlier in their career, Dustin held the position of Production Supervisor at Leprino Foods from December 2010 to July 2013.

Before venturing into the food industry, they had a managerial role at HCA as the Manager of Medical Staff, where they oversaw the credentials of hospital privileges for physicians and allied health professionals from January 2006 to November 2010.

Dustin also gained experience in operations and game day preparation while working with the Colorado Crush football team from January 2005 to November 2005. Dustin managed player and team appearances at various events.

Dustin Young has completed their education through multiple institutions and has gained various degrees and certifications. In 2014, they attended Iowa State University and earned a Brown Belt in Lean Manufacturing. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Webster University, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Their undergraduate education began in 2001 at San Jose State University, where they studied Psychology and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in 2003.
