Colby Pedersen

Colby Pedersen has a diverse work experience. Colby began their career in 2011 in the US Navy, serving as a Military personnel until 2015. Following their military service, Colby joined Green Plains Inc. in 2015 as a Process Team Lead, a position they held until 2020. In 2020, they briefly transitioned to the CLARINDA COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT as the Director of Finance. However, in 2021, they returned to Green Plains Inc. as an Operations Supervisor. Later, their role progressed to Operations Manager, which they currently hold as of July 2022.

Colby Pedersen obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Capella University, where they studied from 2015 to 2020. In addition to their degree, they hold several certifications. In October 2019, Colby became a Licensed Official: Competition Official from the IOWA HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION. In January 2020, they obtained a certification in CPR/AED/First Aid from the American Red Cross. Lastly, in September 2020, they earned the Certified Member (CM) designation from The National Society of Leadership and Success.
