Green River Area Development District
Michelle Drake is the Director of Workforce Development at Green River Area Development District since August 2022, following a nearly three-decade tenure at GRADD as Workforce Training & Business Administrator until February 2023. In these roles, Michelle has demonstrated expertise in providing workforce solutions, supervising a team of ten, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. Michelle's responsibilities include workforce training, grant research and writing, and stakeholder presentations. An educational background in Social Work from Western Kentucky University has further equipped Michelle with the skills necessary for effective career counseling and job preparation services for job seekers.

The Green River Area Development District (GRADD) is a regional planning agency and council of governments serving the communities of Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, Union, and Webster counties. GRADD offers assistance in the fields of aging, health, and social services; community and economic development; transportation planning; and workforce development.
