Tom Lovett

Tom Lovett has over two decades of experience in journalism and community development. Currently serving as the MPO Coordinator, Community Development Planner, and CEDS Coordinator at the Green River Area Development District since April 2017, Tom focuses on researching and writing the Comprehensive Economic Development Survey report. Previous roles include Political Campaign Volunteer Coordinator for the Brad Schneider campaign, where responsibilities included managing campaign contributions and voter outreach, and Editor at The Gleaner Newspaper, overseeing news production and staff management. Earlier experience includes serving as Metro/Business Editor and Assistant Metro Editor at the Evansville Courier & Press. Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Western Kentucky University, obtained between 1989 and 1992.
