Jeremy Snyder

Jeremy Snyder has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2023. Jeremy has held various roles in different organizations, primarily in the field of education and international programs. Notably, they served as the Director of International Housing, Health, and Safety at Green River College starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Tacoma Community College as the Assistant Director of International Housing and Short-term Programs from June 2021 to March 2023. Before that, they were the Residence Life Manager at Wenatchee Valley College from September 2018 to June 2021. Jeremy also has experience at Edmonds Community College as the Coordinator for Residential Education from July 2014 to July 2018, and as an Educational Intern at Portland Community College from September 2013 to June 2014. Additionally, they worked at Pacific Interpreters as an Overnight Operations Supervisor from October 2011 to June 2014. Before their career in education, Jeremy was a Graduate Student working on their thesis from August 2010 to October 2011. Jeremy also has experience in public affairs as a Public Affairs Intern at Metro Regional Government from April 2008 to July 2008. Furthermore, they worked as a House Director at King Realty Hawaii/Hawaii Student Housing from August 2008 to August 2010, overseeing a large apartment building. Jeremy started their career in 2007 at Oregon Janitorial Service (OJS) as a Lead/Quality Assurance Supervisor.

Jeremy Snyder holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communication Studies from Portland State University, which they obtained in 2008. In 2011, they completed their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Diplomacy and Military Studies at Hawaii Pacific University. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Post-Secondary Adult and Continuing Education: Student Affairs at Portland State University, which they completed in 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, Jeremy obtained certification in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Behavioral Health in September 2014.
