Cathy Zhao

Cathy Zhao has a long and varied work experience. Cathy began their career in 1997 as a Chemist at Saint-Gibain, Performance Plastics. In 1998, they were promoted to Sr. Chemist at the same company. In 1999, they moved to Solvay Engineering Polymer as a Sr. Scientist. In 2001, they joined BD as a Principal Materials Scientist. In 2006, they returned to West Pharmaceutical Services as a TPE Formulation Manager. From 2009 to 2021, they held several roles at West Pharmaceutical Services, including Director, Scientific Insights Lab, Director, Global PPS Research, Director, Scientific & Technologies, and Associate Director, Materials Engineering. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Green Theme Technologies Inc. as VP, R&D.

Cathy Zhao obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Polymer Chemistry from The City University of New York between 1992 and 1997.
