Phil Johnson has a diverse work experience starting from 1991. Phil began their career as a Customer Service Manager at Walmart, where they stayed for a year before moving on to First National Bank of Everett as a Loan Processor in 1992. In 1993, Phil joined Robinson & Geraldo, P.C. as a Business Manager, where they worked until the end of 1994. In 1995, they became the CFO at Green Valley Greenhouse, a position they currently hold.
Phil Johnson graduated from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 1991, earning a bachelor's degree in finance. Before attending university, they completed their secondary education at Bedford High School.

Green Valley Greenhouse, Inc. was founded in 1977 and worked its way into the industry through area farm markets. With the quality product and friendly manner in which Green Valley conducted business, the company soon found customers asking for more. Each year greenhouses have been added to keep up with demand. That demand has continued, positioning Green Valley as a major grower in the Twin Cities area. There are now 25 acres of indoor growing space and 5 acres of outdoor space that house the production of a wide variety of products. Currently, Green Valley concentrates on spring annuals, fall garden mums, spruce tips, and poinsettias. The company is located in the northwest suburb of Ramsey and is open year-round for both wholesale and retail sales.
