Joe Beatty has a diverse work experience in various industries. Joe'smost recent role is as an Assistant Project Manager at Greenbacker, starting in November 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Sunlight Solar, where they held multiple positions. Joe started as a Limited Renewable Energy Technician in May 2018 and gained experience in residential solar photovoltaic installations. In August 2019, they became a Project Foreman, overseeing the construction of commercial solar projects. As a Technical Designer, they were responsible for producing construction documents and plan sets for photovoltaic systems from January 2021 to February 2023.

Before their time at Sunlight Solar, Joe worked as a Metal Fabricator at Downtown Ornamental Iron from May 2017 to May 2018. Joe utilized blueprints to create customized metal structures and was skilled in metal cutting, bending, and welding.

Additionally, Joe has experience as a Maintenance Technician at Frisco Bay Marina from May 2015 to November 2016. Joe managed the grounds and facilities of a large marina, performed maintenance on sailboats and docks, and operated heavy equipment.

In 2014, Joe had two positions. Joe was a Foreman at Woodward Copper, where they oversaw operations in a snowboard/ski and skate/bike facility, ensuring the safety of athletes and providing exceptional customer service. Joe also worked as an intern at Gristmill Builders, where they learned architectural design skills and assisted professionals in developing strategies for maximizing energy efficiency in residential properties.

Throughout their work experience, Joe has demonstrated versatility and strong skills in project management, technical design, construction, and maintenance tasks.

Joe Beatty attended the University of Vermont from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Community and International Development. Prior to their university education, Joe Beatty also attended Mount Mansfield Union Highschool. In terms of additional certifications, Joe Beatty obtained a Limited Renewable Energy Technician certification from the State of Oregon in October 2020 and an OSHA 30 certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration in July 2020.
