Jason Gaaserud

Jason Gaaserud is an accomplished professional with experience in political campaigning and analysis. Currently serving as Assistant Analyst and Project Associate at GQR since August 2021, Jason has previously held roles such as Campaign Intern for Jim Himes for Congress, where Jason led the campaign's texting program and created social media content. Other notable experiences include an Organizing and Policy Internship at Brady, where Jason researched gun violence impacts and engaged with volunteers, and an internship in the United States Senate under Senator Richard Blumenthal, focusing on legislative correspondence and constituents' issues. Jason's early career includes assisting with campaigns for Dita Bhargava for Connecticut Treasurer and serving as a Lifeguard for the City of Stamford. Jason earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs from Wake Forest University, complemented by a Statistics minor.
