Elias Hayek

Elias Hayek is a distinguished legal professional with extensive expertise in the hospitality and leisure sectors. Currently, Elias serves as a Shareholder and Co-Chair of the Middle East and Europe Hospitality and Leisure Group at Greenberg Traurig, LLP since July 2025. Previously, Elias was a Partner and Head of the Global Hospitality and Leisure Practice at Squire Patton Boggs from May 2017 to July 2025, advising on various aspects of hospitality project development and transactions. Elias has held leadership roles in legal associations, including serving as Chair of the Leisure Industries Section at the International Bar Association from December 2017 to December 2024 and as President of the Middle East chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel from May 2014 to April 2017. With nearly two decades at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Elias oversaw regional legal matters across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, contributing to over 300 hotel development transactions. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law and Executive Education Certificates from INSEAD.
