Vivek Sahni

Vivek Sahni is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer at GreenCell Mobility, a Green Growth Equity Fund Company since September 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Corporate Finance and Merger & Acquisition at the same company from June 2020 to September 2022. Before joining GreenCell Mobility, Vivek worked at YES BANK as a Senior Vice President from September 2015 to June 2020. Vivek also has experience working at L&T Infrastructure Finance Co Ltd as a Senior Manager in the Project Finance Group from May 2010 to August 2015. During their time at L&T, Vivek handled various responsibilities including business development, financing, legal documentation, and asset management. Vivek played a key role in executing multiple debt deals, structured mezzanine transactions, and M&A funding in the Infrastructure and Allied sectors. Additionally, they led the financing parameters and business development strategy for entering new sectors, such as solar and wind. Vivek also led business development efforts in the Eastern Region for 12 months, closing a transaction worth approximately INR 10 billion. Vivek also played a significant role in leading the non-infra initiative on a pan India level, which involved sector identification, business development, financing, and building an asset book worth around INR 25 billion in just 18 months.

Vivek Sahni pursued their education in a chronological manner, with a focus on finance, marketing, and computers. Vivek first attended Indira Gandhi National Open University from 1999 until 2003, where they completed an Integrated BCA-MCA program in the field of computers. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they enrolled at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, where they obtained an MBA degree with a specialization in Finance & Marketing.
