Sarah Collins

Sarah Collins is an experienced journalist with a focus on political and economic reporting. Currently serving as the Brussels correspondent for Business Post since March 2024, Collins previously worked as a Business Reporter for the Irish Independent from December 2020 to March 2024. Earlier experience includes a self-employed role as a reporter/editor from September 2015 to November 2020, and serving as a Brussels correspondent for the Evening Standard between September 2017 and December 2018. Collins also held the position of spokesperson for the European Commission from September 2012 to October 2014, specializing in economic affairs and managing communication for the European Semester. Additional roles include European reporter for the Irish Independent and financial journalist for Europolitics. Educational qualifications include a Higher Diploma in Journalism and Media Communications from Griffith College Dublin and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Philosophy from University College Dublin.
