Richard Hatley

Richard Hatley is a seasoned professional in operations management with extensive experience in the retail sector. Currently serving as the Efficiency and Innovation Director at Greene King since November 2022, Richard has previously held various leadership roles at Co-op from July 2015 to November 2022, including Strategic Availability Lead and Head of Central Operations Support. Prior to that, Richard worked at Tesco from April 2007 to July 2015 as a Hypermarket Store Manager, overseeing multiple locations. Richard started the career at Aldi UK as an Area Manager after joining the Graduate Program from July 2001 to December 2006. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Management & Sport Science from Staffordshire University, complemented by education at Alliance Manchester Business School.
