Marius Kaz has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Marius began their career in 1992 working as an Executive in Corporate Development at Smith Barney until 1995. From 1996 to 1998, they served as the Vice President for Eastern Europe at RI, LTD., where they recruited senior staff for offices in Prague, Warsaw, Budapest, and Moscow. Following this, Marius worked as the Director of the Technology Group at Stratford Group, a Spherion, Inc. Company, from 1998 to 2000. During their time there, they were responsible for executive recruiting and business development for Silicon Valley's venture-backed companies.

In 2000, Marius founded their own company, ValleyVenturesUS, LLC., where they started a recruitment practice focused on sales, marketing, and engineering talent for Silicon Valley startups. Marius grew the company's staff to eight people and positioned it as an integral partner between startups and necessary talent. From 2006 to 2009, Marius served as the Chief Executive Officer of Unicon Systems, Inc., a Linux mobile device provider, where they were hired as the Sales CEO. Marius recruited a new advisory board, re-capitalized the company, and recruited a new engineering team.

Following this, Marius founded RheoGrid, Inc. in 2010 and served as the Founder, President, and CEO until 2019. Marius focused on developing an IoT cloud engine for the smart energy and smart home markets, with a particular emphasis on MSOs. Marius wrote the market requirements, recruited the engineering staff, and raised angel and corporate financing. Most recently, starting in 2014, Marius worked as a consultant for Valley VenturesUS, LLC., where they undertook consulting projects in various industries, including AI, mobile technology, fin-tech, retail, and e-commerce.

Marius Kaz attended Northeastern University from 1989 to 1991, where they studied Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Marius then enrolled in the Leader Development Program at Columbia Business School from 1992 to 1993, focusing on Business Management.
