Carlos Eduardo Placeres Bello

Carlos Eduardo Placeres Bello is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at GreenGo Energy Group since December 2019. In this role, Carlos is responsible for the engineering of utility-scale ground-mount and hybrid PV-BESS systems during development and construction stages across the United States and Europe, leading a multi-discipline team of engineers. Previously, Carlos held roles such as HV Electrical Engineer at Solarcentury, where significant contributions included designing MV and HV substations for photovoltaic projects, and Electricity Technical Manager at Abengoa, managing electricity discipline activities for large projects. Carlos holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar and a diploma in Strategic Project Management from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
