Hugo Marcotte

Hugo Marcotte has a diverse work experience in the software industry. Hugo currently works at Greenhouse Software as a Senior Engineering Manager, where they started in April 2022. Hugo previously held the position of Engineering Manager at the same company from November 2019 to April 2022, and before that, they were a Software Engineer from April 2015 to November 2019.

Before joining Greenhouse Software, Hugo worked as a Freelance Web Developer for Qu in 2015. In this role, they developed the web application for users to post and answer questions on Qu's website.

Prior to that, Hugo worked at FUIR LLC as a Fullstack Developer from 2014 to 2015. Hugo was responsible for handling all software architecture and development, building the web application, and developing the backend API.

Hugo also gained experience in product management roles. Hugo was a Product Manager - eCommerce at Lightspeed POS from October 2013 to July 2014. From September 2012 to September 2013, they worked as a Product Manager - Retail Solutions at 20-20 Technologies. Hugo also briefly worked as a Product Manager at nventive from April 2012 to September 2012.

Earlier in their career, Hugo worked as a Software Engineer at CAE Healthcare from March 2010 to April 2012. Hugo started their professional journey as a Web Developer at IsaiX Technologies Inc., where they led the design and development of customized ASP .NET applications for salesforce training in the pharmaceutical and financial services industries. Hugo worked at IsaiX Technologies Inc. from May 2004 to March 2010.

Hugo Marcotte obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Université du Québec à Montréal, having studied from 2002 to 2006. In 2014 to 2015, they attended Fullstack Academy for a Web Development Immersive program. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org in April 2013.
