Karen Stanford

Karen Stanford has over 20 years of work experience in the insurance and financial services industry. Karen is currently the Chief Operating Officer at GreenKite, where they provide smart and sustainable business solutions for ambitious firms. Prior to this role, Karen worked as a Consultant at GreenKite, assisting businesses in achieving their goals. Before joining GreenKite, they were the Head of Operations at Flood Re from 2016 to 2021. Karen also held various roles at Pen Underwriting - UK, including Conduct and Regulatory Risk Manager and Claim and Client Services Manager. Karen started their career at Lloyd's of London as a Business Analyst and later worked as a Business Analysis Manager at Talbot Underwriting. Karen has a strong background in business analysis, regulatory processes, and project management.

Karen Stanford earned their Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Kent, where they attended from 1998 to 2001. Karen later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the same university from 2003 to 2006.
