David Bentley has extensive work experience in supply chain management and logistics. David currently holds the position of Head of Supply Chain Operations at Greenleaf Foods, a role they started in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Ferrara from September 2020 to April 2022 as the Director of Business Partner - Warehouse Management & Logistics.
Before joining Ferrara, Bentley was the Director of Distribution and Supply Chain Strategy at Smithfield Foods from July 2016 to August 2020. In this role, they were responsible for driving top-level focus to customers, reducing complexity and costs, and realigning business processes. David also owned the distribution processes and warehouse management, labor management, and yard management systems and strategy.
From January 2016 to July 2016, Bentley served as the Director of Supply Chain Management at CTI Foods. David was directly responsible for the supply chain activities of the company and played a vital role in creating and implementing materials management and logistics processes.
Bentley has also held roles at The Kraft Heinz Company, Kraft Foods Group, and US Army. David has experience in transportation management, project management, materials management, and facility planning. Overall, Bentley has a diverse background with a focus on supply chain management and logistics.
David Bentley attended Ohio University from 1989 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management. In 2000, they completed a Graduate program in Medical Logistics Management from the U.S. Army. Additionally, they obtained a ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in January 2016.
