Jacob DeGuire has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting as a Marketing Assistant at Alusuisse Composites in 2000, they then transitioned to a Camp Counselor at Falling Creek Camp in 2001. In 2006, Jacob joined the US Army, where they held roles such as Platoon Leader and Battalion Operations Officer. Jacob later served as a Foreign Area Officer at the US Embassy Lomé, Togo, and an All-Source Intelligence Analyst at the National Ground Intelligence Center. Currently, Jacob is at GreenLight Biosciences, where they have held roles such as Vice President of People and Operations, Senior Director, and Director of People Success. Throughout their career, Jacob has demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and operational skills across different sectors.

Jacob DeGuire began their education journey in 2002 at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Geography in 2005. In 2013, they earned an Associate's degree in French Studies from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. Jacob then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in International Relations and Affairs at Boston University from 2014 to 2015. Jacob furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Suffolk University - Sawyer Business School between 2018 and 2020, and a MASTER OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ANALYTICS (MSBA) from the same institution in 2019-2020.
