Lindsy Iglesias

Dr. Lindsy Iglesias has a diverse work experience in the field of biology. Lindsy started their career at La Finca Nueva as an Intern in 2009. Lindsy later worked as a Research Intern at the University of Florida in 2010. From 2011 to 2018, they served as a Graduate Research Fellow/Assistant at the University of Florida and also worked as a Curriculum Development Assistant during that time. Lindsy then joined Cornell University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in 2018. Currently, Dr. Iglesias is with GreenLight Biosciences, where they have held various roles since 2021, including Head of Discovery Biology. Lindsy'sexpertise spans from entomology to bioassay team leadership.

Dr. Lindsy Iglesias earned their Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts/Architecture from Hillsborough Community College in 2008, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Florida in 2010. Lindsy then pursued a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Ecology (Entomology) at the University of Florida from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Iglesias continued their education at the University of Florida, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Entomology from 2013 to 2018. Additionally, they have received several certifications in areas such as bioassays development, team building, and academic mentoring.
