Paola Aragon Brown

Site Support Manager, National Portfolio at GreenLight Fund

Paola Aragon Brown joined the GreenLight Fund team in January of 2019 as GreenLight Charlotte Program Associate and has since been promoted to Site Support Manager on the National Portfolio team.

She brings years of experience in the business and non-profit sector. Previously, she worked for Sysco International Food Group as an assistant manager handling various international accounts. Prior to Sysco, she worked with the immigration program at Lutheran Services Florida as its administrative assistant and first point of contact for the immigrant community.

Paola holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies and a Master’s degree in Latin America, Caribbean and Latino Studies from the University of South Florida. Much of her research was dedicated to marginalized groups, particularly of African descent. During her graduate career she studied abroad in Panama as a part of a case study. She had the opportunity to visit several organizations that concentrated on women’s health issues and their human rights. Coming from an immigrant background, Paola has a passion for underprivileged populations and wants to be a part of effective methods that will generate change within these communities.
