Fadi Kanafani

Fadi Kanafani, P.Eng, is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the automotive and advanced technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Greenlight Innovation Corp., Fadi previously held key positions including Head of Advanced Engineering at ElectraMeccanica, where responsibilities encompassed managing research and development, overseeing the company’s intellectual property strategy, and leading product development efforts for electric vehicles. With a strong background as VP of Engineering at MineSense Technologies, Fadi spearheaded product development and significantly improved product reliability. Additional roles include Vice President of Global Controls at Westport Fuel Systems and various engineering positions at Chrysler and DaimlerChrysler, demonstrating a robust history in controls systems and project management. Fadi holds multiple degrees from the University of Michigan and is well-versed in both mechanical and automotive engineering.
