Sameera Rao

Sameera Rao is the current Chief Technical Officer at Greenlight. Prior to this, they were with Tigerhall, Fremont Unified School District, Plato, and PayPal. Sameera began their career in 2003 as a Senior Software Developer with Sabre Inc. In 2005, they joined Yahoo! Inc. as a Technical Yahoo! and stayed with the company for a year. Sameera then moved to Attributor in 2006, where they served as Applications Development Manager for six years. In 2012, they joined PayPal as VP and Head of Technology for PayPal Invest. Rao has been with Greenlight since December 2021.

Rao has a BS from Sri Jayachamarajendra College Of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering, an MS from The University of Texas at Arlington in Computer Science and Engineering, and is a Chief Product Officer from Kellogg Executive Education.
