Ashmita Wasti

Ashmita Wasti, EI, currently serves as a Roadway Engineer at GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. and as a Civil Engineer EIT at Horizon Engineering Group, both since September 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Texas at Tyler, focusing on the mechanical testing of adobe clay bricks under the guidance of Dr. Michael McGinnis. Ashmita also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas at Tyler and as a Civil Engineer for the Government of Nepal, supervising quality control in the field. Additionally, experience includes serving as a Technical Trainer for a water supply plan in rural Nepal. Ashmita holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler and a degree from Tribhuvan University.
