Dan Schmutz

Vice President/chief Environmental Scientist at Greenman-Pedersen, Inc.

Dan Schmutz has over 21 years of professional experience in ecology, with a focus on environmental science Quality Assurance (QA) and statistically-sound study design. Dan currently holds the position of Vice President/Chief Environmental Scientist at GPI, where they oversee these aspects throughout the Florida offices. Prior to this, they worked at Bureau Veritas for 10 years, serving as Branch Manager and Environmental Department Manager.

Dan Schmutz earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a Chemistry Minor and Writing Concentration from North Central College in the years 1988 to 1992. Dan then pursued a Master's Degree in Zoology from the University of South Florida from 1992 to 1997.
