Daniel Thomas, M.S., P.E., is a Senior Structural Engineer at GPI / Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. since July 2008, specializing in Federal-Aid Local Administered Pass-Through bridge rehabilitation projects in Upstate New York, as well as deck replacement designs for multi-use trails and an international suspension bridge. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maine AEWC Center from September 2006 to June 2008, focusing on connection designs for a blast-resistant structure project for the Army Corps of Engineers. Additionally, Daniel worked as a Student Technician and Research Scholar at Clarkson University, where research contributed to a publication in Transportation Research Record. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maine and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University.
