Annalena (Leni) Lochte is a Project Manager at XDI: The Cross Dependency Initiative, working on climate risk projects for the NSW government and other clients. Prior to this, Annalena (Leni) was a Research Contractor at Greenpeace Australia Pacific, focusing on finding solutions to the climate crisis. With a background in Paleoclimatology and Paleoceanography, Annalena has also worked in various research and program management roles at institutions like GEOMAR Helmholtz-Zentrum für Ozeanforschung Kiel and Impact X. Annalena (Leni) holds a PhD in Marine Sciences from Kiel University and has degrees in Geology/Earth Science and Paleoceanography from Uppsala University and University of Bergen, respectively.
