Touko Sipiläinen

Touko Sipiläinen currently serves as the Head of Greenpeace in Finland, a position held since September 2022. Previously, Sipiläinen worked as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Education at the Ministry of Education and Culture in Finland from June 2019 to June 2022. Sipiläinen also led communications and policy initiatives at Vasemmistoliitto - The Left Alliance from April 2018 to June 2019. Earlier experience includes various roles at Greenpeace between 2014 and 2018, focusing on global digital leadership and digital marketing. Sipiläinen’s background in digital marketing includes significant achievements at SOS Children's Villages, where successful campaigns grew the organization’s social media presence substantially. Education includes a BA in Politics and Economics from SOAS University of London.
