Glen Martens

Glen Martens is an experienced professional in the recycling and commodities sourcing industry, currently serving as the Pacific NW Region Buyer for Green Planet 21 since March 2022. Prior to this role, Glen held various positions at WestRock Company from 2014 to 2022, including Secondary Fiber Mill Buyer and Manager of Supply for the Northwest, where responsibilities encompassed sourcing recyclable materials and managing inventory quality. Glen's earlier career includes notable roles as Marketing Manager at Berg Mill Supply from 2010 to 2014 and progressive positions at Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation from 1990 to 2009, culminating in General Manager of the Portland recycling plant. Glen holds a BA in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from the UW Foster School of Business and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
